Ahead of his sides clash with Crystal Palace, Spurs boss Robert Vilahamn hinted at some new arrivals in this transfer window. Asked in the pre-match press conference whether or not we should be expecting newcomers in the next week, he replied: "Probably"
Whenever he talks about signings, the Swede regularly refers to the way things take a bit of time to get done. For instance, he has said goalkeeper Lize Kope had been on the radar for a while before she arrived recently. So had other recent signing Olivia Holdt, apparently. "We don't just want to sign players, we want to sign players we have a benefit for," explained Vilahamn.
Vilahamn insists there is a long term plan and that he is backed from right at the top of the club:
The board is showing me everything I need to see thhat we are actually going to take the steps.
In the same vein, he pointed to the impending arrival of a new technical and how that will change how Spurs women operate in the transfer market.
It looks like next week could see some new arrivals for the women at Hotspur Way.
